Welcome to my "mommy blog"!

Now that Tuck and Emi are 10 weeks old, I feel like my head is enough above water to commit to actually posting some entries here. The past two-plus months have gone by in a blur.

For some reason what stands out most in my memory already are the early morning feedings on the sofa in the nursery that always seemed to end with me holding both babies -- one in my lap and one on my shoulder, or both propped on pillows at my sides. All three of us would fall asleep together that way just as the birds were starting to chirp outside the nursery windows... snzzz...
